L'annonce des soins palliatifs : quelles complications psychiatriques ?

Medical and palliative team must be aware of arisen psychiatric complications following the traumatic disclosure of an exclusively palliative care. These occur most of the time in patients with an anxious basic component, sometimes with abandonment problematic and generally in a context of announcement delivered brutally to non-prepared patients. The prevention has to run through a reflection about recommendations about breaking bad news (communication skills, guidelines) in palliative state with doctors.
