• Electrochemical sensors and biosensors are being developed since beginning of 1990s, and so far, they were subject of at least 300 research papers published in analytical literature
• Wide range of chiral selectors developed for high-performance separation methods opens numerous possibilities of their application in design of electrochemical sensors, mostly for potentiometric and voltammetric applications
• Still rather limited use one can find for design of chiral biosensors employing antibodies and biomolecular receptors
Review is based on 50 original papers, published mostly in last decade, and presents recent advances in design of electrochemical enantioselective sensors, which can be employed in potentiometric, amperometric and voltammetric measurements.
