The process of updating nursing methods is often overlooked due to the lack of a standardized approach adapted to healthcare organizations. At the CHU de Quebec, a process for updating nursing methods was developed by the nursing administration to move towards an evidence-based practice. This process has promising potential use for healthcare organizations that promote a nursing practice based on the best available knowledge.
