European patent information 2007: EPO policy reformulated

This article describes the main practical aspects of the EPO’s reformulated patent information policy. These are–further improved support to member states,–enhanced barrier-free access to patent information,–facilitating high quality patent applications,–providing new tools for non-professionals and–further development of information, training and monitoring needs.
