Kinetics and thermodynamics of B-site cation order in (Sr,Ba)2FeSbO6 perovskite

In the cubic (Sr0.5Ba0.5)2FeSbO6 double-perovskite system the Bragg-Williams long-range order can be precisely tuned, and the ordering process follows Johnson-Mehl-Avrami-Kolmogorov kinetics. Ordering is kinetically controlled below circa 1200 °C above which the compound is essentially fully ordered at thermodynamic equilibrium.282
