Thermoluminescence properties of 100Â MeV Si7+ swift heavy ions and UV irradiated CdSiO3:Ce3+ nanophosphor

► CdSiO3:Ce3+ (1-9 mol%) nanophosphors have been prepared at much lower temperatures. ► Phosphors are well characterized by PXRD, SEM, FTIR and UV-vis spectroscopy. ► TL properties were evaluated using swift heavy ions and UV irradiation. ► TL properties suggest that it can be suitable for UV dosimeter applications.
