Grip strength is not associated with incident type 2 diabetes mellitus in healthy adults: The CoLaus study

In non elderly healthy adults, the risk of incident T2DM is overall not associated with grip strength over a maximum follow-up of 10.7 years. Future studies are warranted to better assess the association between grip strength and incident T2DM in bigger and even younger cohorts.
