Osteopathy in the Biodynamic Field (OBF) is dependent on the basic condition of a neutral, which has to be present as afference both in patient and practitioner, in order to achieve a sustained therapeutic effect for the patient. In OBF the phenomena of stillness in the Neutral are largely attributable to natural science and are therapeutically effective in every interpersonal treatment arising from a common metaperson, in osteopathy as well as in psychotherapy.
