Promouvoir la bientraitance périnatale en améliorant l'accueil du nouveau-né par des soins développementaux prophylactiques : le programme P.M.S.E.

We have established a preventive programme of developmental cares for term and premature newborn, and infant, based on a bodily approach of the baby's competences. This approach is based on the beginnings of sensory and motor baby's experiences. The developmental and well-being objectives cover as well postural and orthopaedic prevention with the attention to holding baby in one's arms and to his lying position, to the developmental trajectories and interactions, and to the caring for the baby and his parents by the multimodal touch, while paying attention to the physical and emotional environment. This is the early intervention programme « H.H.S.E. », Holding, Handling, Stimulations for awakening and from Environment (lying positioning…), related to tonical, posturo-motor, emotional and cognitive functions, searching respectively for developmental harmony of the baby in his social context, with physical, cognitive and psychological blooming of the baby.
