The first noncentrosymmetric mixed alkaline borate Li3K3Y7(BO3)9 in the quaternary system A2O-A´2O-RE2O3-B2O3 (A, A´ = alkali metals) was synthesized under high-temperature conditions from lithium carbonate, potassium carbonate, yttrium oxide and boric acid.343
