Abstract
												Contrary to current hypotheses, in this study the severity of asthma among atopic asthmatic patients was less in those with nasal symptoms. Conversely, among the nonatopic asthmatic patients, asthma was more severe among those with nasal symptoms than those without nasal symptoms.
