Abstract
One in three patients with suspected ACS had a glucose metabolism disturbance. Glycometabolic disturbance was strongly associated with a confirmed diagnosis of ACS. Whether intensive treatment of patients with disturbed glucose metabolism may improve long-term prognosis needs to be assessed.
