Abstract
Only a small fraction of ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin and levofloxacin passed from the maternal to the fetal compartment. This fraction is significantly smaller compared to antipyrine. This may indicate that there is a barrier to the transport of fluoroquinolones in human placenta.
