Abstract
Reduced nocturnal BP dip and sustained nighttime BP elevation are specific markers of secondary hypertension in children with untreated hypertension. Children with blunted nocturnal BP dip or sustained nighttime hypertension should be thoroughly investigated searching for the underlying cause of hypertension.
