Abstract
Pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis is uncommon and constitutes 5% of all interstitial lung diseases in adults. Primary lung involvement of Langerhans cell histiocytosis in children is rare, but its clinical manifestations are similar to those found in adults. When the clinical findings are subtle or unusual, imaging may play important role in diagnosis. In this paper, we present high-resolution computerized tomography findings of pulmonary involvement in Langerhans cell histiocytosis in two cases, one child and one adult.
