Abstract
Sarcomatoid carcinoma of the liver is a very rare pathologic lesion with epithelial and mesenchymal components. This lesion is difficult to diagnose on the basis of clinical manifestation and the results of diagnostic imaging alone. The descriptions of findings on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) presented herein are discussed in terms of differential diagnosis with hepatocellular or cholangiocellular carcinoma (HCC/CCC) and regenerative liver lesions.
