Abstract
In the case presented here, a lesion in the breast showed many features of malignancy at contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. The histologic specimen was removed by means of MR-guided vacuum assisted biopsy and histology demonstrated a benign adenomyoepithelioma. To our knowledge, this is the first case of benign adenomyoepithelioma characterized by MR mammography and confirmed by MR-guided vacuum assisted biopsy.
