Abstract
Tetraethyl silicate (TEOS), as a silicon source, can transform into a SiO2 layer through hydrolysis, and this layer was evenly coated on the NCA(OH)2 surface. Then, the SiO2-coated NCA(OH)2 was mixed with Li salt and sintered to directly obtain a Li4SiO4-coated LNCA composite. LNCA@Li4SiO4 can deliver discharge capacity of 156.5 mAh gâ1 and the capacity retention of 70.6% after 300 cycles at 10â¯C247
