Abstract
Hybrid nanochannel membranes consist of PSS/MOF composites and AAO have been synthesized. These resultant membranes feature geometrical, chemical and electrostatical asymmetry. After adjusting the PSS content in the membranes, the optimized membrane gives a high rectification ratio of 98 and shows excellent cation selectivity. When integrated them into a salinity-gradient-driven energy conversion device, a high power density of approximately 2.87â¯W/m2 can be achieved.168
