Abstract
Recent decades witnessed significant progress made in the field of two-dimensional molecular sieve separation membranes. layered double hydroxides (LDHs), as a representative of anionic two-dimensional molecular sieves, have been considered as an ideal candidate for high performance separation membranes. This paper summarized recent progress made in construction of LDH-based separation membranes emphasizing on opportunities and challenges facing their commercial applications.269
