Abstract
The structural and thermodynamic properties of Cs3Na(MoO4)2 have been investigated by neutron diffraction, high temperature X-ray diffraction, high temperature Raman spectroscopy, and Differential Scanning Calorimetry. The oxygen potential threshold for the formation of Cs3Na(MoO4)2 in the event of ingress of sodium in a failed nuclear fuel pin has been assessed. 167
