Abstract
- Electromagnetically induced transparency is studied in a GaAs/InAs/GaAs parabolic quantum well in the presence of magnetic field strength.
- The three atomic sub-levels are considered and the system is considered using a density matrix approach.
- Magnetic field related optical susceptibilities, Rabi frequency and the detuning parameters are computed in the present work.
- Magnetic field induced refractive index and the group velocity of the probe light pulse are investigated.
- The variation of group index as a function of probe field energy, with the application of magnetic field, is reported.
