Abstract
Control of dermatophytosis in dogs and cats is based on therapeutic principles validated according to evidence-based medicine. This paper delivers recommendations of a group of experts on systemic, topical and environmental modalities of treatment of canine and feline dermatophytoses. It suggests a classification of the principal active ingredients in veterinary medicine.
