163Mutual comparison of the binder influence on the impact sensitivity and performance (expressed as a product of loading density, ρ, and square of experimental detonation velocity, D2) of the different BCHMX plastic bonded explosives: suffix - Si and -Sylgard mean PDMS, -C4 means softened PIB, -sem the softened acrylonitrile-butadiene caoutchouc, -TNT trinitrotoluene, -GAP glycidylazide oligomer, -PA poly-methylmetacrylate, -Fluorel polyfluoro polymer Dynenon FT 2481, -V5 and -V9 mean 5 and 9% of Viton A 200, respectively. Semtex 10, the PETN PBX, is taken as a standard here.
