Abstract
The perovskite-like LaSrCoO4 mixed oxides were prepared by the gelatin, polyglycol gel and polyacrylamide gel methods and were used successfully for CO and C3H8 oxidation. These samples were investigated by using the XRD, TEM, BET and TPD methods. The effects of preparation methods on structure and performance of LaSrCoO4 were studied. The catalytic activity of LaSrCoO4 prepared by polyacrylamide gel method is the best among all samples, and this is explained in terms of its more oxygen vacancies and mobile lattice oxygen, smaller particle size and larger BET surface areas.
