Abstract
⺠Formic acid adsorbs dissociatively on anatase TiO2(101) to form monodenate and bidentate formate species. ⺠The monodenate formate is bound to regular Ti5c4+ sites. ⺠The bidentate formate is located at oxygen vacancy sites.
