Abstract
A novel method to synthesize LPG fuel directly from syngas with a hybrid catalyst is presented. The new hybrid catalyst, consisting of (Pd-Ca/SiO2) and β-zeolite, showed a high activity and selectivity for LPG fraction. It also showed a higher stability than Cu-Zn/USY at high reaction temperature. The sintering of palladium metal was main contribution to the deactivation of the hybrid catalyst (Pd-Ca/SiO2)/β-zeolite.
