Abstract
⺠Highly hydrophobic FAU zeolite can be synthesized by a simple two-step method. ⺠The prepared zeolite is highly crystalline, thermally stable and highly hydrophobic. ⺠Hydrophobic zeolite significantly improves photocatalytic activity of TiO2. ⺠A distinct correlation is found between zeolite hydrophobicity and activity of TiO2.
