Abstract
Tree ring analyses also allow us to determine the impact of individual high discharges on the lateral migration rate of the MaÅa Panew channel. The lateral migration of the channel was most rapid in the years 1953-57 and 1966-68 as well as during the extraordinary flood in 1997.
