Abstract
The product prepared by the SHS process forms the large aggregates including many small spherical AlN particles with the stable size (d50 = 3 μm) even if the starting Al particles are large (d50 = 29 μm). The possible mechanism is proposed to explain the formation of the small AlN particles from the large Al particles.152
