Regulation on the synthesis temperature and optical properties of SmBO3 prepared by chloride fluxes assisted the solid state reaction method

Pure SmBO3 can be prepared at 700 °C when ZnCl2 is used and the usage of ZnCl2 flux is only 5 wt%. The lowest calcination temperature drops by 200 °C, and there is an intense absorption peak around 1064 nm with the reflectivity of about 0.6%, which exhibits good optical absorption properties.55
