Abstract
⺠Nesquehonite whiskers with long length and high aspect ratio were synthesized. ⺠The crystals changes from rod-like to bundle-like morphology with increase SDS concentration. ⺠The average length was about 87-180 μm while the aspect ratio was 18-45. ⺠The temperature and reactant concentration affected the size even the crystal type. ⺠SDS is beneficial for oriented growth of one-dimensional nesquehonite crystals.
