Abstract
⺠We investigated sloshing of a liquid inside a tank on a spring controlled seesaw. ⺠If the mechanical eigenfrequency is close to the sloshing frequency beating occurs. ⺠If beating occurs energy is periodically transferred between sloshing and tank motion. ⺠This resonance phenomenon is identified by experiments and numerical simulations.
