Abstract
► A new method called indirect-mode JPS process for monodisperse droplets generation was proposed. ► Indirect-mode JPS process has excellent size uniformity, materials flexibility and process stability. ► Droplet size turned uniform with increasing the rotational speed and jetting pressure. ► Most uniform droplets (dd≈520 μm and CV≈3.3-4.2%) were generated at P=0.04 MPa and n=350 rpm. ► A model based on the gas pressure was developed, giving consistent results with the experiments.
