Abstract
► We use RANS approach to describe the turbulence-chemistry interaction. ► Our new experimental data are obtained by the two-color PLIF method. ► The noise influence on calculated scalar dissipation rates is found. ► The improved mixing model accounting for the low-Reynolds-number effects is proposed. ► The scalar dissipation influence on the averaged chemical reaction rate is analyzed.
