Abstract
⺠Performance of two gas/liquid contact modes for hydrate formation was investigated. ⺠Formation rates were significantly higher in a fixed bed column. ⺠Water to hydrate conversion was higher in a fixed bed column at a given time. ⺠Fixed bed column can be employed for gas separation applications of clathrates.
