Abstract
⺠Six different wire mesh pads tested. Pressure drop and separation efficiency recorded. ⺠Liquid holdup, droplet size distribution and flooding point was also investigated. ⺠Efficiency and droplet size distribution for the empty separation vessel was probed. ⺠The results shows a time dependency in operation of wire mesh pads. ⺠A new parameter is proposed to describe the dynamics of wire mesh pads.
