On analysis and modeling of cross-flow membrane filtration of particle suspensions

This study presents an overview and commentary of past investigations on cross-flow membrane filtration analysis. The basic assumptions used in these past investigations are scrutinized and problems concerning the availability and accuracy of relevant data for model applications are examined. Suggestions of future research are also offered as part of the study.
