Abstract
► Adsorptive accumulation of rutin is studied at glassy carbon (GC) electrodes. ► The Frumkin adsorption isotherm described the specific interaction. ► Gibbs free energy of adsorption and the interaction parameter were determined. ► Thermodynamics and kinetics of the surface redox process were characterized by SWV. ► Detection limit for rutin was 2 × 10−8 mol dm−3 (12 ppb).
