Abstract
⺠Energy distribution (ED) plot is a common way to analyze electrochemical noise data. ⺠Standard deviation of partial signal (SDPS) plot is more versatile than ED plot. ⺠Both ED and SDPS plots can detect the predominant transients of each signal. ⺠SDPS plot unlike ED plot can distinguish several signals according to intensity. ⺠SDPS plot can categorize several corroding systems according to the pit density.
