Abstract
► Diffusion of cytochrome c within nanopores was studied via cyclic voltammetry. ► Diffusion-controlled CVs were observed for cytochrome c on 24-nm pores. ► Adsorption-controlled CVs were found for cytochrome c on 14- and 11-nm pores. ► Simulations explained the decreased diffusion of cytochrome c in nanopores. ► Simulations clarified the characteristics of CVs on nanopore-coated electrodes.
