Abstract
⺠We evaluate thermodynamically the anodic materials on which it is possible the produce nitrogen. ⺠We confirm experimentally that nitrogen evolution can occur in molten fluorides. ⺠We perform the complete electrochemical study concerning nitride ions oxidation. ⺠We propose several anodic materials as good candidates for nitrogen evolution.
