Abstract
⺠Removal percentages of arsenic from drinking water at optimum operating conditions in electrocoagulation process were 93.5% for Fe electrode and 95.7% for Al electrode. ⺠Operating costs at the optimum conditions were 0.020 â¬Â mâ3 for Fe and 0.017 â¬Â mâ3 for Al electrodes. ⺠Surface topography of the solid particles at Fe/Al electrodes was analyzed with scanning electron microscope. ⺠The adsorption of arsenic followed pseudo second-order adsorption model.
