Abstract
⺠In this study, the effects of anionic and neutral surfactants on the redox properties of electrochemically synthesized polypyrrole were investigated. ⺠These surfactants were observed to contribute towards electrochemical kinetics of polypyrrole. ⺠This observation was supported by calculating the rate constants and diffusion coefficients for the different systems under study. ⺠The values for rate constants and diffusion coefficients obtained from cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were in good agreement.
