Abstract
⺠The solubilities of some HFCs in lower alcohols have been determined. ⺠An accuracy of 0.6% was achieved. ⺠A semiempirical correlation has been developed between the solubilities of HFCs in alcohols. ⺠Two descriptors have been used, the Gutmann acceptor number and the reduced dipole moment of gases.
