Abstract
⺠Solubility of CO2 in aqueous 2(methylamino)ethanol (MAE) was measured. ⺠The varied parameters were temperature (303-333 K) and pressure (1-100 kPa). ⺠The Kent-Eisenberg approach was used to model the solubility of CO2 in MAE. ⺠Predicted results showed good agreement with experimental data. ⺠MAE showed better performance as CO2 absorber compared to other commercial amines.
