Abstract
⺠Treatment of model tar compound toluene with acetylene and hydrogen oxy-flames. ⺠Both flames promote toluene reforming into H2 and CO (syngas). ⺠Both heat supply and interaction with combustion products advance toluene reforming. ⺠Utilization of the hydrogen/oxygen flame is similar to the application of plasma steam.
