Abstract
⺠We investigated CIVB flashback propensity of H2-CO and actual syngas mixtures. ⺠Presence of H2 in the fuel mixtures dictated the flashback tendency. ⺠Higher Swirl Number decreased the flashback propensity of the mixtures. ⺠A flame quenching was developed to parameterize the fuel composition effect.
