Abstract
⺠Gasification of wood and straw pellets is provided in a downdraft gasifier. ⺠The additional heat supply by propane flame ensures stable and controllable process. ⺠Sub-stoichiometric air supply enhances formation of volatiles in the pyrolysis zone. ⺠External heat supply leads to a higher volatile production. ⺠Increased external heat supply promotes an enhanced thermal decomposition of biomass.
