Abstract
⺠Three modified bentonites with acidic ionic liquids were synthesized and characterized. ⺠MB3B catalyzed the esterification of oleic acid with methanol with 92.8% yield at 6 h and 70 °C. ⺠The catalytic activity in the esterification of fatty acids and alcohols was investigated.
